Long Time

It's been awhile since I've been on here. Hopefully I can keep this up and catch up on everything. I'm starting to get back into painting hopefully I can really get better at it. Here are 2 paintings I've done recently, I started painting again a few days ago and tonight, I'm going to try and post some up every week and see how I do. Any and all critiques are welcome. Wow it's been a very long time since I was on here. Well anyways, because of a much needed pep talk from a very good friend of mine, I am finally getting on the ball and updating my site. Also, I was so inspired from this weekend's CTN Animation Expo (even though I was only there for one day), that I just needed to put some new stuff up. Walk Cycle Again

Hello again all,

Ok...it looks like the reel will have to wait until tomorrow, but for now I have a modified walk cycle put up. I think it still needs a little bit of work but here it is. I added a bit of exaggeration, to add a little attitude. Anyways, I will clean it up more tomorrow but for now I must sleep because I have work in the morning. Hopefully tomorrow night I'll have the new version of the reel up. Thanks for being patient. As always feel free to comment. Happy Animating!!!

Coraline Panel

Hello Everyone,

I just wanted to share some cool things from the Coraline Panel that I went to. The panel was at Gallery Nucleus in Alhambra last Saturday February 7. My friends and I attended the panel and saw several character designs, storyboards, backgrounds and even prop designs. I feel that I got a lot out of it, it was very informative on how things work when it comes to stop motion. Obviously time is a huge factor but what I didn't realize was that a lot of the stop motion animators live in this kind of zone for a few weeks just to animate a scene. As explained by one of the artists (I think it was Shane Prigmore that said it) these guys must be masochist, because of everything that they have to do, they stay in they're cubicle (box room) or something for at least a week, posing and animating the models, fixing the models and just getting everything right. It takes a great deal of passion to be able to do that, I think that's just inspiring to me. Anyways here's a link to the photos that gallery nucleus took.

I know it's been awhile but I've got a new animation that I just finished. Also, I forgot to update this site with the updated reel that I turned in back in December, so I'm uploading both. Hello everyone!

Welcome to my new Blogspot. To start this off with a bang I'm uploading a video from my demo reel, this is a render of a walk cycle, there are still a few tweaks that I need to do for it but for the most part it's done. Also I'm uploading one of the finished scenes that I did for "Loose Tooth" which is an animated project that a group of us (Ai Students) did in our Production Team class.
